I don't know that much music theory or even all that much about musical structure. I simply love music. I especially, but not exclusively, love classical music.

I guess I should qualify my love of classical music. There is the occasional piece of opera (especially choruses) that I find fantastic but for the most part I am not a big fan of opera. That's just my personal taste and preference. I suppose some people don't like any type of classical music. Isn't it great that we can have our own likes and dislikes. As my mother always likes to say: "'Everyone to there own taste', said the lady as she kissed the cow."

Favorites From My Collection:

Here are some of my favorite classical pieces (not necessarily in any particular order) from my limited collection of CD's:

1.   Fryderyk Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor, Op. 11
2.   Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 12 in A major, K. 414
3.   Ludwig Van Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 (Dah, dah,dah ,dah...Dah, dah, dah, dah)
4.   Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Concerto for Flute & Harp, K.299
5.   Gioachino Rossini: Guillaume Tell (you guessed it, the William Tell Overture)
6.   Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra, KV 314
7.   Mauro Giuliani: Guitar Concerto No. 1 in A, Op. 30
8.   Joachin Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez
9.   Felix Mendelssohn: String Symphony No. 9 in C major,
10. Joseph Haydn: Symphony No. 45 in F Sharp minor "Farewell"
